Riot68 @ Art Toy Alchemists
Heres a sneak peak of a custom Camobot by Riot68 for the custom toy show “Art Toy Alchemists” which runs on 2nd June in California.
Really grimey and fits the platform perfect! Look out for more info on Riot68 from VA in the next month.
Swinging Seesaw
The Swinging Seesaw – the website of the works by Alexis West has been updated with a light and fat version! (html and flash). New illustrations and works have been added to the nice site. Also on his site is the wooden sculpt he has been working and still is working on of one of his characters, named Glockock!

EGO – DIY figures
Ego have been in development for about 2 years now and creator Graeme Patrick is about to unleash his creation unto the world this week.
VA was sent an EGO and they’re nothing short of greatness, the figure can be posed in different ways and it still retains its center of balance. It’s the nice touches like the moveable eyes and mouth that offer lots of character and should see some great customs come of it

Alex Pardee x Upper Playground
Alex Pardee was recently commissioned by Upper Playground to create a window display for the San Diego store Street Machine. Along with Viceroy Pierce, FloppyDonkey, and Darren S-Cott, (the ZeroFriends crew) Alex constructed a seriously bizarre skullheaded monster themed installation… the stuff of brilliant nightmares!

Ink This
From May 8th at the Coningsby Gallery, London, Ink This present an exhibition. A collection of 37 UK and International designers and illustrators, in the latest installment of “dreams & nightmares”.

Furi Furi @ Pixie
Furi Furi are back on the toy scene and dancing with the devil… a mischievous devil. Meet VIL THE DEVIL, a character from the Girls Power manifesto series.
DEVIL’S SWEET SMILE will take place at Pixie in Taipei from 11th May until the 3rd June 2007. Expect lots of evil goodness from the Furi Furi team: original artwork, screen-prints, photographs, sculpture.
Some special tshirts will be available, including an exclusive Pixie vs Furi Furi collaboration tee, plus a Devil’s Sweet Smile – both limited to 100 pieces.
The exhibition launch takes in 2 events, firstly is the opening party on Friday 11th May from 8PM – 10PM. Then on the following day (Saturday 12th) from 4PM – 6PM the Furi Furi team will be activly live painting and available for signings. If you go to the opening party you’ll be able to grab a free fan to waft away the heat!
Plus we can reveal the development of a very nice looking, soon to be launched, toy of VIL. Shown here are the sculpt prototypes.
Make Out With Cabello
The Hicalorie household have a new member of their family, a rather large Cabello to play with! The Hicalorie x DGPH project just got bigger!
Who knows what goes on behind closed doors when Alex and Cabello are alone together – my guess is some sort of wrestlemania activity, may be even a bit of sumo!!
Eagle-eyed Cabello fans may also have spotted a rare white version hanging out with the gang. More Cabello news to come as and when we discover it!
