VA supports the latest cultural hub in East London – Bodhi. Bodhi is a cafe/gallery space on London’s iconic Brick Lane. It specialisies in all things Japanese by housing the UK’s first ever Manga Library/Cafe.
As part of the gallery’s opening season “Alive in the East”, illustration collective HENBO are hosting an exhibition of artwork. The preview night is Thursday 17th May from 6:30PM. So please come along for a beer and some sushi… and some great bits of illustration.
The Henbo collective is formed of Tortoy’s Hector and Lya, Hidenobu Toyoda and VA’s very own Sichi (who will be revealing something very special to anyone who says the magic word)…!
VA is also curating a custom plush show featuring the UK’s top illustration and character design talent. A specially commissioned platform by Muju is the canvas. That show will run from 4th June until the 10th June. More anouncements on Plus Plush coming soon!
