The 2nd edition â€œLegend of Plaseeboâ€ figure which is cast in BLUE GLOW IN THE DARK VINYL with blue inset eyes is 8â€ long prone ( 5â€ seated ) and comes in a 10â€ long vinyl Sarcophagus. It will also come with a copy of the illustrated â€œLegend of Plaseeboâ€ story printed on a 14â€ X 21â€ sheet of parchment paper and a full color header card illustrated by Bob Conge. The edition is limited to 80 pieces worldwide.

Yesterday you spent your time making Simpsons versions of yourself and your friends, today you must watch the David Choe documentary/road movie of his journey across the USA. David and his cousin Harry Kim hitchhiked across the states to bring us this wonderful programming.

Fascinating and compelling and just damn good fun! It’s currently on Episode 12, so backtrack and watch the whole series so far.

UNKL SUG & Ulligus – In the flesh!

The all new SUG & Ulligus figures, which will make their big debut at this year’s San Diego
Comic-Con International. SUG is 12″ tall. Ulligus is 6″ tall and about 8″ long.

The yellow SDCC colorway is called the Urban Recovery series, and is limited
to 40 pieces each.
SUG is 12″ tall. Ulligus is 6″ tall and about 8″ long.
The Urban Recovery SUG will retail for $69.99 and Urban Recovery Ulligus
will sell for $49.99.

The orange colorway is called the Search & Rescue series,
and 250 of those were made.
The Search & Rescue SUG will retail for $59.99 and the S&R Ulligus will sell
for $39.99.

KAWS Hasheeme

At the Medicom Toy Exhibition in Tokyo, Tokyo Tribe Hasheeme (a design classic in the toy world) has had the KAWS treatment.

The figure features has KAWS style hands, X X eyes and the iconic bones through the head.

Also on show was a KAWS’d Darth Vader – tie in with Medicom and their Star Wars production license or guerrilla as he’s always been? Find out as and when more information is leaked/gets released!

Michael Lau + Nike

Here is the finished collection of Nike Pro Athlete characterisations by Michael Lau. They stand at a huge 20″ and as we guessed, they are wearing authentic Nike Pro apparel – real fabric with sweat-tech-stuff or whatever it was called. Each one coming with it’s own accessory (Ronaldinho with a football, Kobe Bryant holding a basketball and Roger Federer holding a tennis racket).

However, for all you hardcore collectors – they are not being produced for retail.

They will feature in a charity auction in Hong Kong. Meanwhile, you may be able to get a look at them in the vinyl flesh when they go on display in Nike Stores around the world.

The event will feature new works by Mysterious Al, David Bray, D*Face, Chloe Early, Conor Harrington, Jessica Harrison, Haroun Haward, Ben Johnson, Charles Krafft, Andrew McAttee, Word to Mother, Emma Reeves, Ronzo and Kirsty Whiten.

Also to coincide with this show will be the release of exclusive “hot off the press” StolenSpace screen prints by D*Face (shown below), Word To Mother, Mysterious Al, David Bray and Ronzo. Only on sale at StolenSpace on Thursday (6.30 – 9.30 or until stock lasts).

Graffiti Stories arrives in France from 30th June until 30th September at Abbaye Auberive. The series of events examines the works of graff legends, urban art influences and contemporary artists. Historically covered are the works of Blade, Blast, Henry Chalfant, Crash, Daze, Dondi, Futura, Keith haring, Jonone, Noc, Quik, Rammellzee, Seen, Sharp and Zephyr.

Guest artists who are part of the “L’Art Modeste Sous Les Bombes” exhibition are: ALEXONE (France), JONONE (France), MIST (France), David ELLIS (USA) , Maya HAYUK (USA), DZUS (Taiwan), REACH (Taiwan), Ismaeil BAHRANI (Iran), NUNCA (Brazil) and Zonenkinder (Germany)
