The next piece from
Kidrobot's Black line is this wicked black and gold skull by Russell Karablan, owner and creative director of
SSUR. Opinion seems divided on the piece, sure it's different and more of a sculpture than the usual "toys" we're used to but it's not exactly original (
Secret Base have been producing Skull Heads for quite a while now, and they're arguably better).However, would you sooner have
KR produce a piece like this, or shovel kinder egg-esque stuff like the
awful De La Soul minifigs? No word on a release date or numbers (expect around 200), so you'll have to keep an eye on the Kidrobot Black page.
