Lunabee – Custom Tribal Mini Munny

Known for her awesome custom vinyl toy designs, UK illustrator Sarah Miskelly aka Lunabee, has just released an image of her latest custom Mini Munny! The detail and colour on this piece is stunning especially considering the actual size of a Mini Munny! Congrats to the lucky owner!

Price: Unfortunatley this guy was a commission piece so it’s not for sale, more of her available pieces can be found on Lunabee’s online store though or get in touch for your own commissioned piece!

The Renmen Project – Limited Edition Peskimo Screenprint

Until last Wednesday I wasn’t even aware this print was being produced, it was only when I saw @Jumbola tweeting

“Really looking forward to the @peskimo prints going on sale at the @renmenproject shop this Friday http://bit.ly/dkZkLx

I clicked on the link and thought “Wow Peskimo?! I need to get one of those! What’s the Renmen Project though?” Then I found out ..

“‘Renmen’ (pronounced ‘rainmain’) is the Haitian word for Love, the bird in the logo is the Hispaniolan Trogon, the national bird of Haiti. ‘The Renmen Project‘ has been brought together by the team atThunder Chunky and Ben The Illustrator in order to raise funds for UNICEF’s Haiti Earthquake Children’s Appeal.”

Featuring two Peskimo style Hispaniolan Trogon birds sitting in the trees, the print is full of vibrant and vivid colours, it reminds me of their Bamboozoo vinyl toy set! The prints are A3 sized, signed and numbered by the artist and they even printed them in their own studio! It was a limited run of only 16 and there was a lot of interest in the build up to it’s release, so getting one of these was going to be tough, then the time of release was tweeted,

@RenmenProject: “It’s all going crazy at 12 o’clock today! Be ready!”

I waited. Constantly refreshing the page until suddenly the “Add to Cart” button appeared! I was clicking as fast as I could to get to the PayPal checkout so I could claim mine but thought I was too late, but NO my order was processed! YES! They were sold out in 7 minutes and all the proceeds went to a very good cause UNICEF’s Haiti Earthquake Children’s Appeal.

Now I’m just waiting by the front door for the postman to arrive! :D

WuzOne – Orangino Dunny

Joe Ledbetter x The Loyal Subjects – Pico and Wilshire

This is the latest character duo of mammoth proportions coming straight from the mind of JLed! Mammoth proportions indeed with Pico the Sabertooth measuring nearly 6″ and Wilshire the Mammoth standing 12″ tall, this is going to be a major piece in your collection! Featuring the signature Joe Ledbetter style we have come to love, the colours and features of this piece really “pop”. Check out those tusks!!

Trying to prove himself to the pride, an ambitious Sabertooth Cat (Pico) takes on more than he can chew with a peaceful Wooly Mammoth named Wilshire. 20,000 years ago they roamed what are now the streets of Los Angeles in large numbers.

There I was thinking that they were friends and Wilshire was giving Pico a lift somewhere :(

Produced by The Loyal Subjects this set is planned to drop mid Autumn and you will be able to pre-order it from July 7th 2010, be quick though this set is limited to 415 pieces. The price is expected to be between $155 – $165 USD.

Will Pico feed his family? Will Wilshire escape to live another day? Or will they both meet their demise in the clutches of the La Brea tar pits?
