Toy2R USA!

Toy2R, creators of the iconics Qee series and one of the pioneers of the designer toy movement have proudly announced that they will be launching a new USA division. This will allow Toy2R to extend it’s global presence, giving both retailers and collectors easier access to it’s products.

It will also provide an opportunity for Toy2R to broaden it’s licensed products range. After the success of the Simpsons Bart Qee range a new wave of Simpsons Qees will be unleashed (pure speculation but I’m thinking this may be the Homer series?), as well as…wait for it…Sonic The Hedgehog and Little Big Planet Qee lines! Even if you’re not a fan of the commerical cross-overs you have to admit those sound pretty cool!

Well, rather than babble on about it ourselves why don’t you check out the press release from Toy2R HQ after the jump! It’s long but it’s quite an interesting read, giving an nice insight into the future and past of this toy giant!

LIFT Detroit Mad*L by Tristan Eaton

Looky what we spied on MAD’s flickr! The first look at the Detroit Mad*L exclusive to LIFT. You might be thinking this design looks familiar, that’s probably because it’s featured on the Mad*L Citizens show flier, an exhibition of customised 10″ Mad*L figures by artists from all over!

Really digging the simplistic red and white colour scheme with the deceptively intricate design. Sadly we don’t know anything about prices or run numbers, if anyone has more info please feel free to send it to us!

Jam & Custard – pictures of the night!

What a great night it was! A fantastic turnout for the show the place was jammed full! Haha get it? Jammed full?…ok no more puns sorry.

Droplets! Yay!!!

Droplets were flying off the shelves as people searched for the ellusive black chase figure, and the seemingly even more ellusive green figure which seemed to get pulled less than the chase! The walls were adorned with vinyl cut-out droplets and lazer cut Jam Factory and Droplet logos with free button badges, stickers, postcards and sugary goodness everywhere!

So many peoples! Boxes galore! Which ones hold the mystery chase? Even more peoples!

Upstairs there was even more goodness to be had with a fantastic exhibition of customised Droplets by some fantastic artists! And on the opposing wall, some beautiful lazer etched skatedecks and some hand-made Droplet plushies! As usual I’ve been rather o.c.d with the photo’s and taken close-ups of every piece, so read on to view all the fantastic customs!
